Sri Yagnavalkya Sabha
OBJECTIVES
Yagnavalkya Sabha was formed 65 years ago under the name Shukla Yajur Veda Sabha. The name Yagnavalkya Sabha was added subsequently after discussion in the AGM a few years back.
The main objective of the Sabha is to encourage and promote the study, teaching and research of Shukla Yajur Veda, Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Krishna Yajur Veda, Atharva Veda and Sastras etc and to disseminate the doctrines and tenets expounded therein. In order to bring all members of Shukla Yajur Vedis under one banner this web site has been opened with special emphasis to promote cooperation amongst the members and to collect, preserve and publish information for the advancement of their spiritual and cultural life. It is proposed to build a database of all Shukla Yajur Vedis. All Shukla Yajur Vedis are requested to become members. The member ship fees are furnished separately
